A good portable satellite radio
The module is performing as i expect because of a portable radio. The module works quite well inner my car with a cassette player adapter playing theo- xm broadcast from theo- headphone jack. The reception is very stable while theo- module sits inner theo- cupful holder between theo- front seats.
I tested theo- module inside a restaurant sitting about 5 feet away from theo- closest window and theo- reception was still quite good and theo- sound quality of theo- music was quite high . I played nearby with theo- eq setting and found because theo- different equalizing setting would definitely affect theo- sound quality.
Not having theo- unique xmp3 car cradle, i’m using theo- car charger and theo- cassette player adapter from an older xt roady unit, so i have not had a chance until test theo- xmp3’s fm transmitting capabilities. However, with reduced fm transmission power as required by theo- fcc, using fm transmission until listen nonstop a car’s fm radio while inner a main city like los angeles may be a challenge as i have experienced before with many other fm transmission products.
In short, i find theo- receiving part of this module is strong. The sound quality of theo- live broadcast is good. The control is easy until understand and use. I have not tested theo- mp3 player so i cannot comment on because. The price is high but then Pioneer GEX-XMP3 works as it is supposed until.
