I experience not received any problems with the replacement DVD player I got. We watch it every night and ofttimes leave it on overnight. It plays like a champ. The picture is clear, and as long as the volume is on low, the levelheaded is selfsame clear (the levelheaded gets a small tinny at louder volumes). I experience not heard it skip erst eve when jostled.

A portable DVD player comes in surprisingly handy. It is selfsame lightwieght and fits easily inside a laptop bag. Dandy for work, home, kitchen, bedroom, — basically everyplace you either dont experience a TV or dont desire all the light and noise of a full-size TV.
