There’s a Cajun rice cook book on Amazon whose recipes work best in the On/Off/Warm rice cooker.Wow, so hard to pick a rice cooker; so many options and so many good reviews. Picked this one I’m not sure why, and it’s been really good, the rice comes out wonderfully. Big difference compared to steaming in a saucepan, in case you’re wondering if you should buy a rice cooker at all. White rice does take a full 45 minutes to cook, which is longer than steaming it, but still worth it. Note their “cup” measure is only about 3/4 of the standard USA 8 oz. cup. Brown rice capacity is just a little over 2 cups (raw). Only drawback is Panasonic SR-DE102 5-Cuphas an aluminum cooking pan, but it’s hard to find one that does not.

I have plantar fasciitis. No sandals I have found were ever comfortable. I usually wear wool socks for the extra heel padding and shoe inserts. But I wanted a summer sandal for the beach. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone looking for something to run larger appliances (even if they are within the advertised range of wattage) off of for more than a minute or two. If you’re looking for a portable battery jumper/light/pump/radio or a little extra power to charge mp3 players or phones (the usb power function is great) while away from civilization (and weight isn’t an issue) than this is a great product for you.
